Fairy Cave Bau

Ada sebuah lagi lokasi eco-tourism di Bau iaitu Fairy Cave. Nama Melayunya disebut Gua Pari-Pari. Namun ketika sampai ke lokasi tersebut tak dapat pulak nak masuk. Mungkin ia tutup pada setiap Isnin. Atau mungkin dibuka hanya untuk mereka yang membuat tempahan untuk event persendirian. Kerana nampak ada sekumpulan pengunjung yang sedang sibuk dengan aktiviti memanjat mengguna tali atau gliding.

Fairy Cave is a limestone rock formation located near the town of Bau in Malaysian Borneo. The view of the main cave room is just breathtaking. Stalagmites and stalactites jut out of the rock face, greenery dresses the walls, and the sun shines into the opening illuminating the cave entrance.

The cave has been used for various resources in the past, including gold, flame-retardant material, and even limestone. In 2013 it became a protected land under the Sarawak Forestry Dept.
