Tinggalan Krimulda Castle
Apa ada sekitar Krimulda? Ada yang menyebut Krimulda sebagai Latvia's Switzerland. Kenapa begitu?
Petikan Ai:
Krimulda, Latvia, is a historic area known for the stunning Krimulda Manor. It is a neoclassical estate now a rehabilitation center with beautiful views, a local winery (Cremon) and connection to the nearby Gauja National Park.
Key attractions include the manor house and park, the ruins of the ancient Krimulda Castle, the Gauja River cable car, and access to scenic trails and natural beauty in Latvia's "Switzerland".
Kami cuma sempat meninjau Krimula Castle. Tak sempat nak tengok Krimulda Manor kerana kena berjalan kaki jauh untuk tiba Manor.

The history of the Krimulda castle itself dates back to the 13th century. The first Krimulda castle was located closer to the Gauja river than the current one and its ruins can still be seen. The Castle was destroyed during a war in 1601.
