Whakarewarewa (The Living Maori Village)
When in Rotorua a visit to Whakarewarea - the Living Maori Village is a must. The place is also a geothermal area within Rotorua city. Maori have live here since they occupied the place (in 1325) taking full advantage of the geothermal activity in the valley for heating and cooking.
Entrance fee is starts at NZD40 per adult with ticket for cultural show. The cultural show is at 11am and 2pm daily.
