Rajabhakti Park Hua Hin Thailand

Rajabhakti Park is one of Hua Hin's latest attractions. Standing in a line against a backdrop of forested hills are seven giant statues of great Kings from Thai history.

An impressive sight, the bronze statues measuring nearly 14 meters tall honour great Kings of various era in Thai history, namely Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Thonburi and Rattanakosin. Each statue cerries a plate with the name of the King and period of reign.

Rajabhakti Park was built by the army and was opened in September 2015 by HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.

The Rajabhakti Park was built by The Thai Army with donations from private individuals and Thai businesses to honor the Royal Family and Thailand's history. The main park houses statues of seven Thai kings. The bronze statues are a real sight to be seen, as they are almost 14 meters tall, set in a beautiful spot on the foot of a mountain.

The Kings represented in the park are - King Ramkhamhaeng (1279-1298*), King Naresuan (1590-1605*), King Narai (1656-1688*), King Taksin (1767-1782*), King Rama I (1882-1809*), King Mongkut / Rama IV (1851-1868*), and King Chulalonglorn / Rama V (1868-1910*).

At the Park it said there is still space for two more statues in the future.
