The Confucius Temple
The original temple is located at Shandong Province.
It is a temple where sacrifices used to be offered to Confucius. The present temple was reconstructed from a former residence of Confucius in Qufu in 478 BC. At present, it has 466 halls and pavilions, such as Kui Wen Pavillion, Thirteen-emperor Monument Pavillion, and the Great Hall of Confucius. This temple is referred to as one of the three greatest palace buildings in China.
