Ada sebuah plak didirikan di depan bangunan makam Sehzade Mehmed. Plak dengan tulisan besar Sehzade Mehmed Turbe terpapar kat depan. [Turbe = tomb].

Turbe of Shahzadah Mehmed

Shahzadah Mehmed wasSuleyman the Magnificient and Hurrem Sultan's (Roxelana) son. Suleyman the Magnificient involved closely with the education and upbringing of Shahzadah Mehmed. While SM was the governor of Manisa he died young. Then he was buried at the place of his turbe. The turbe had been constructed between 1543-1548.
