Yongyeon Pond

Within the same location of Banghwasuryujeong is a pond which is unique and scenic.

This pond was artificially formed like an island made below Yongmeoribawi (Dragon Head Rock) near Suwon Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion in harmony with the beautiful natural surroundings. It is said that a rain praying rite was held here when the area was hit by a long spell of drought.
