Turbe of Shazadah Mahmud

Selain pusara Sehzade Mehmed ada juga berdekatan sebuah lagi pusara iaitu Turbe of Shazadah Mahmud.

Shazadah Mahmud was born in 1587. His father was Sultan Mehmed III and mother was Halime Sultan. As being a gifted, Shazadah Mahmud wanted to quell the Anotalian Celali rebellions and shared his thoughts with his father. 

Since he was well supported by the public, his father had the idea of him having eyes on the throne. Mehmed's thought were intensified by the act of Mahmud's mother. Upon preparing for the provincial governorship of the Manisa Sanjak, Mahmud was suffocated to death at Topkapi Palace by order of his father in 1603.

In the turbe, Shazadah Mahmud and her mother were buried.
