Sebuah ikon kota Paris yang tersenarai sebagai must-visit.

The Arc de Triomphe was begun in 1806 on the orders of Napoleon I to honor the victoies of his Grandee Armee. Inspired by the great arches of antiquity, the monument combines the commemorative with the symbolic and it has always played a major role in the national republican conciousness. Every evening the flame is lit on the tomb of the unknown soldier from the Great War.

Sesampai Du Nord segera keluar untuk mencari tempat penginapan. Perlu segera check-in di penginapan kerana berkejar untuk solat. Mujur juga lokasi hotel penginapan dekat sangat dengan stesen Du Nord. Keluar saja dari pintu stesen dan melintas jalan dah tiba ke penginapan.

Ruang bawah penginapan tersebut adalah kafe kecil untuk pengunjung minum. Kaunter check-in nya betul-betul kat tempat order minuman.

Stesen Gare du Nord

Tren EuroStar tiba di stesen Gu Nord sekitar jam 4 petang. Besar stesen ini dan banyak tren berperasi menuju ke merata bandar Peranchis dan negara jiran. Urusan imigresen ketibaan dari London tidak perlu lagi kerana telah dibuat semasa sebelum menaiki tren di St Pancras.

The Gare du Nord literally Station of the North, or more simply North Station, lexically, officially Paris-Nord, is one of the six large terminus stations of the SNCF mainline network for Paris, France.

The Gare du Nord is the station for trains to Northern France and to international destinations in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The station complex was designed by the French architect Jacques Hittorff and built between 1861 and 1864 (wiki).
